The Timeless Charm of the “Diamante” violin

Directly from Cremona, city of art and cradle of luthiery, a treasure returns. A treasure that I crafted with my own hands in 2014, part of a limited collection inspired by precious stones: the "Diamante" violin.

This instrument has returned to my workshop for an acoustic set-up and a retouch of its varnish. It was a true pleasure to see it again and to witness the care and attention with which the owner has preserved it, a tangible expression of love for handmade things and the uniqueness of quality craftsmanship.

Over the years, the violin's varnish has acquired a slight patina, a subtle veil that enhances its beauty and tells a journey through time. Like the finest wine, this instrument does not age, but matures, revealing and enriching its character.

The name "Diamante" resonates more aptly today than ever. Like a diamond, this instrument is precious and fascinating, a symbol of the dedication, skill, and attention to detail intrinsic to the craft tradition of Cremona, my city.

There's a deep bond between me and each instrument I create. A part of me resides in them, and it expresses itself in every note played. This connection between creator, performer, and listener is a fascinating experience, and one of the reasons I love what I do.

The journey of the violin "Diamante" is a journey that crosses not only time but also borders and cultures, uniting people through the universal language of music. It's a journey that tells a story, a story of passion, dedication, and love for the arts.

This instrument, like all those I've had the privilege of creating, is a tribute to tradition and innovation, two values that coexist in the luthiery of Cremona. Every instrument is a piece of history, a piece of my own story, and I hope it resonates in the hands and hearts of those who will play it.
