Guarneri del Gesù “Ex Brusilow” 1743 model
A tribute to the 1743 Guarneri del Gesù “Ex Brusilow”: I chose to respect its proportions and arching, and to reproduce the corners, scroll and f-holes with precision, while using a varnish and construction that reflect my own hand.
Not a copy, but a new violin — as if the master himself had just completed it today.

• 2001: Finalist with a violin at the International Wieniawski Violin Making Competition in Poznań, Poland.
• 2004: Fourth Prize and the Crystal Cup for the Best Violin Maker Under 30, with a violin, at the International Metelka Violin Making Competition in Náchod, Czech Republic.
• 2006: Finalist with a violin at the International Arvenzis Violin Making Competition in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia.
• 2008: Third Prize with a violin at the International Metelka Violin Making Competition in Náchod, Czech Republic.
